Torch Reporter, Chris Wheeler, met up with Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards in Winnipeg, Manitoba to see him run with the Olympic Flame! Before Eddie the Eagle ran with the Olympic torch, we participated in the winter activities of ice climbing, curling, and skating at the Forks in Winnipeg. The British ski jumper who became famous during the 1988 Calgary Olympics sports his original ’88 glasses in some comments at the end of his torch run towards the end of the video! Thanks for the smiles Eddie and keep flying!
