Heading back from the Calgary Stampede, I did a stop motion time lapse from Banff, AB to Revelstoke, BC. Driving through the Rockies from Alberta to British Columbia is magnificent! So crank the tunes and enjoy the road trip!

Time to get wet with water activities on Lake Okanagan, BC! We are talking boating, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, jet skiing, kayaking, and paddleboarding in the Thompson Okanagan Region! BC Field Reporter Chris Wheeler samples every water sport under the sun starting his morning with a wakeboard at Summerland Waterfront Resort. After a sweet wipeout in the warm Okanagan lake waters near Summerland, he makes his way to Penticton, BC to explore more of the lake by kayak and paddleboard. Life is good!

Explore a gold mine and taste wine of the Similkameen Valley in the Thompson Okanagan Region with Tourism British Columbia Field Reporter Chris Wheeler. Perched on a cliff face in Hedley, BC, the Mascot Gold Mine is a place to experience what life was like as a hard rock gold miner. Chris then travels further into the beautiful Similkameen Valley to Cawston, BC and samples wines at both the Crowsnest Vineyards and the Seven Stones Winery. Talk about the good life!

Headed up to Tofino, BC on Vancouver Island to escape life’s worries and enjoy the surf. The Ocean is a healer, and there is nowhere better in Canada then Tofino to relax on the beaches and lose yourself in the surf.

I headed to the funkiest new boutique in Vancouver called LYNNsteven for an event shoot. The combination of beautiful women, styling outfits, and a wee bit of wine sure made my head spin! Talk about a fantastic party and it was fun to be catching a taste of it on video. Thank you Ladies!

During a trip through the Thompson Okanagan in British Columbia, I took the jet boat for a rip on Lake Okanagan. It’s a great summertime place to go boating and make a splash!

I had a great time when I was in Jasper during the torch relay (see video) so it was a no-brainer to go back and film there again. A few highlight were hitting the open road and filming Jasper Motorcycle Tours, Columbia Icefield Glacier Experience, a Charlie Chaplin video scene and, of course, sipping a cold brew during jam nights with Jasperites in the local pub! Next, Tourism Jasper is building an exciting “My Jasper” campaign along with the marketing company Taxi and myself shooting video. So I’m off to check out Rendezvous Canada and look for Tourism Jasper making some noise this spring and summer.
