Rick Hansen 25th Anniversary Relay Campaign:

Chris Wheeler Media (CWM) provided video production services for the Rick Hansen 25th Anniversary Relay nationwide campaign. CWM ran a multi-camera operation producing engaging web episodes and providing broadcast broll packages of the Rick Hansen Relay from key locations across Canada. CWM has a keen eye for capturing the moment and telling stories through video during nationwide events. The videos for this campaign are used to engage and bring viewers closer to the Relay’s everyday heroes and to instill action and further support for the Rick Hansen Foundation. The videos are multi-purposed and prepared for use on web, Gala presentations, and television audiences. We were honored to join such an excellent team and to capture the inspiring stories of the many in motion participants.

Travel with the 2010 Olympic & Paralympic Torch Campaign:

Chris Wheeler Media followed the Olympic Flame, producing travelogues about the great Canadian communities that participated in the torch relay, while promoting the local flavours of those communities along the way. This was part of an innovative partnership between the Canadian Tourism Commission, Coca-Cola and Tourism British Columbia, who combined to initiate the program as a means of promoting and sharing the excitement of the Games.
.
During the 106 day journey, Chris filmed, hosted, edited, and posted a total of 49 videos. For the last 28 days that the Olympic Flame was in BC on its cross-Canada journey, Chris produced daily online videos featuring torch day stories and profiles of unique regional tourism destinations and experiences.
.
This was the first time in Games history that a host tourism agency had leveraged the power of social media to connect consumers with the Games experience through the excitement of the Olympic & Paralympic Torch Relays.
